Northeast Thailand February 2nd to 16th 2024 10 BIKES MAX + 1 VAN ( 2 PERSONS) DAY 14 NAN TO CHIANG MAI 327 kms 4:49hrs of riding Ok its time to make the run for home back to our BDAC base hotel in Chiang Mai today Still plenty of great riding on perfect roads and spectacular scenery as we blast along. We will cross through the Doi Phu Nang, Doi Luang and Khun Chae National parks during the day as we head West. Early light Lunch on the road will be at the interesting Mae Kachan Hot Springs after which we will ride non stop for around 2 hours till we finish for the day. Around 4 hrs of actual riding Well second last day on the bikes today and let's make the most of it with some truly brilliant road riding on some of the best sealed roads in the world. You came to ride motorbikes in exotic places. You are going to get that today. In spades We will be riding on perfectly prepared bitumen roads with more twists and turns than the sum total of every episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful”. By the end of the day your head will be spinning and you will have the smile of a Cheshire Cat after a line of GoGo powder. An; as new, hotel full of all the goodies we like like comfortable bed, fresh crisp linen, sparkling clean bathroom, cold aircon and great parking for the bikes is ready for us tonight.. Northeast Thailand February 2nd to 16th 2024 10 BIKES MAX + 1 VAN ( 2 PERSONS) Day 12 Nong Bua to Nam Pat 206kms 4:25hrs And we are heading further into Heart of Darkness of Northeast Thailand today as we ride through some of the most spectacular and untouched parts of the country.There is only 1 road through but luckily it is a good one and will present no problems to us at all. Make sure your bike is full of gas and you have plenty of water as we wont be seeing a lot of civilisation for a few hours as we transition through. We will ride through the middle of the the wild and untamed Phu San Sai National Park, the bamboo forest home to rare birds like redstarts and parrotbills taking ample opportunities to stop and take in the scenery. We are in no hurry, lets make the most of it Our hotel for tonight is in the tiny Thai town of Nam Pat and is a special Thai owned and run property which is always immaculately presented and clean.
