Northeast Thailand February 2nd to 16th 2024 10 BIKES MAX + 1 VAN ( 2 PERSONS) ALL DETAILS HERE Day 11 Udon to Nong Bua 237kms 4:12 hours of actual riding Back to loading the bikes up this morning before we start to head West on the run home over the next few days Todays riding takes in the full spectrum of riding from the long straights and speed curves of the main highway to the twists and turns and up and downs of the perfectly presented provincial back roads as we blast our way through the countryside on our trusty bikes. Rural vistas and provincial people will abound today as we ride in one of the most loved wild and untouched areas in Thailand. At time we will be less than 8kms from the Laos border We will finish the days riding in the charming Thai rural town of Nong Bua which sits between the Phu Ruea National Park and Phu Luang Wildlife Sanctuary. We should arrive at the hotel early enough that if you want to take a 2 hour round trip ride to the Phu Luang Sanctuary you may have a chance in the late afternoon to see some of the wild elephants that live there. Our hotel tonight is a charming family owned property where English conversation is non existent but the smiles, warm welcome and legendary Thai hospitality are in abundance. Dinner is at a delightful local restaurant where the food will be delicious and filling ans the beers cold and refreshing. After the partying in Udon Thani for the last 3 nights it will be nice to slip back into rural life and speed again.
