After that stop we then head North and will run up the far Eastern Side of Thailand for most of the day with the Mekong River to our right and Laos on the other side of it. Beautiful, relaxed laid back day of riding where the traffic will be light, the weather perfect, the roads great and the scenery spectacular. You can even go for a swim in the Mekong if you want. The best way to understand this place is to just accept what appears in front of you as you wander around and take it all in as one overall surreal experience.
